Blue Mountain Oasis Bedroom

A sophisticated principal bedroom oasis, serving as a calming escape from the chaos of daily life and echoing the love for mountain river views.

1. The Plan

At Pearlescent Interiors, every design starts with planning. Before we look at color schemes and finishes, we ask: What needs to happen here? We work collaboratively with the client to determine the needs of the space, the activities that happen within it, what’s currently working and what isn’t, and how they want to feel in it.

2. The Tone

After the plan is in place, we work on setting the tone of the room. How do you want this room to feel? Are there colors, scenes, or artwork that match that feeling? We also gain clarity on what the client does not like.

3. Detailed Design Phase

Once the general plan and tone of the room are set, we go on to meticulously design and specify everything from the placement and color temperature of the light fixtures, the size of the furniture, the undertone and finish of each wood stain, paint color, fabric, and more.

4. Procurement and Installation

If the project includes procurement of all of the furnishings, we coordinate the sourcing, fabrication, and installation of all of the main furnishings in the room whether that be the cabinets in a kitchen or a reading chair in a principal bedroom suite.
